I’ve updated my Graphic Novel page with a brief plot synopsis. This particular story has evolved a lot over the years. I find myself constantly tweaking the dynamics between different characters in the story.

Every day there is another moron contributing to the “dumbing down” of society on the internet. Don’t believe me? Go and spend a few minutes reading the comments people leave on YouTube. After reading those comments go ahead and try to respond to some that you do not agree with. Nine times out of ten I guarantee that you will receive the same result: twenty idiots who will call you a ‘fucktard’ for simply posting your opinion.
What happened to the education system? Where are all of the parents at? Is humanity doomed? Do we really deserve to be on top of the food-chain?
As a species we have done amazing things. We have art, science, music and literature that our ancestors before us could only dream about. Yet despite all of these advances there is still hate, greed, war, pain and suffering all over the world. And we humans caused it all because of our vices – our incessant need to consume and multiply.

Why does crime exist?
For every decent human being in this world there are at least ten scumbags out there who seek to lie, cheat and steal their way through life. I used to think that criminals were a result of the increased cost of living – now I’m not so sure.
There are three types of criminals: opportunists, thrill-seekers and career.
A wise scribe once wrote: “Son, you gotta be one of the Good Guys. ‘Cause there are way too many of the Bad.” I live by this quote every day and I hope that one day the Good will outnumber the Bad.

OK – so I know what you are thinking: “But you said you had given up on Smallville?!”
Not true! I haven’t given up on Smallville. Instead I will be viewing this Season as an observer. Season 8 really disappointed me so I have decided that I will not sit in my living room ever Friday night in anticipation for the next installment. I will DVR each episode and offer my opinion if I so choose.
I will not however fall prey to the same crap that these “so-called” Producers tried to cram down our throats last year.
OK, so I know what you are thinking: “What does that mean?!” Well let me elaborate….
I have found in the recent year that my favorite television shows have failed me. Smallville, Lost, Heroes and of course Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. What happened? Let me break it down:
Smallville
Now here was a great show that has lost its way. The Producers and writers took a great risk in bringing the Doomsday character into the show. I honestly don’t believe that it’s where the original show creators Millar and Gough had intended to take the series. So how did it work out? Absolute garbage. They wasted an entire Season of build-up to have a less-than three minute fight where Clark doesn’t even land a single punch on Doomsday. Then they kill off Jimmy Olsen and bring back Zod. WTF?!
Lost
Smoke monsters. Time travel. Miraculous healing. None of this turned me off of the show. The show just got boring to me. I find myself no longer caring about the survivors of flight Oceanic who gives a crap. ‘Nuff said.
Heroes
Question: How do you ruin a hit TV series? Answer: Keep rehashing the same tired storyline. What the hell were they thinking?! You don’t take your main Villain that draws the fans into the show and make him Good just to turn him Evil again. That’s just sloppy storytelling. Just about every character on this show has become annoying to me. I’m through watching…let it get canceled.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Now this was a damn shame. How can the Fox Television Network let this show die? I’ll tell you how: money. It’s what makes the world go around and helps keep the executives at Fox fat and happy. I will be seething about this one for a long time….
Is there anything out there left to watch that’s decent? Well maybe “Chuck”, if it doesn’t get canceled.
If you are one the few fans that troll the internet forums and fansites, gobbling up any spoiler information that becomes available remember this: it’s only a TV show! I used to not have a life either and I would spend countless hours debating with fellow online users that I will most likely never meet in person. Personally I now avoid these sites and their Administrators like the plague. I don’t feel the need to name them here for they receive far too much publicity already by their own loyal followers.
I don’t want to go off on a “Tangent” here but they are not all your friends! They do have lives of their own outside of the internet community! When these TV shows are over they will abandon these forums (and you) for their real lives.

You know what really burns me? People who sit at their computer all day long and argue with other people on the internet. I get it! You were abused as a child by your parents or pestered by Bullies in school. Now you sit in your Mom’s basement painting your “minis” and secretly “flaming” noobs on WoW or your favorite internet forum.
Grow the hell up and go on a date! Smell the roses! Fly a goddamn kite!!! Do something that doesn’t involve showing other people how immature you really are. Just because you can read a thesaurus does not entitle you to bash people whose opinion differs from you.
I find myself sick that I have to resort to actually posting about your sorry behind. You are what’s wrong with the internet and why my children will be monitored when they go online. That way they don’t have to be insulted by a no-talent hack who probably preys on children.

You know, I’m pretty sure that no one comes to this blog. Most of the people that I hang out with are far too busy to become enamored with Twitter accounts and Facebook pages. That being said I don’t post on my site as much as I’d like to.
Are you one of the few who wish to see more? I feel for you, really I do. I just don’t have the time or the patience right now to continue with this site.
So the site will be on hiatus until such time that I may find myself wanting to express my vices and inner-most demons once again.

A few months ago I wrote about my return to the 40K universe. Since then I have collected a decent sized Necron Army and have begun a Tau Empire Army as well.
Now I’m more of a “painter” than a “player” so most of my time has been spent trying to get the best looking paint job for my collection. If you collect Warhammer miniatures then you know how much of a pain it can be to assemble, prime and paint an army in the least amount of time.
In the coming weeks I plan to release a series of photos showcasing my two armies. I will also be uploading pictures of some custom Gaming Terrain that I have been building for “Home” games.

Boy do I wish that I liked this movie more.
It starts out with a bang and the movie flows quite well all the way through. The problem is, the movie just has too many defects.
The first problem that I had was with the editing (I’m referring to the vehicle scenes for the most part):
Is it really necessary to shoot all of the action sequences with vomit-inducing close shots? Seriously, I had to look away in the beginning as cool as the scene was or risk getting a headache. The editing for ALL of the action sequences sucked so bad it was laughable at times. It was frenetic…..too frenetic. You couldn’t make since of what was happening half of the time.
Then there was the story.
OK, what the heck happened? We go from “Casino Royale”, where Bond infiltrates a card game to uncover a money-laundering scheme to….some jackass who wants to own a patch of desert to monopolize utilities?
The villain was very vanilla as well. I kept thinking that any minute somebody would take him out and the REAL villain would step in. Nope, you’re stuck with this dingleberry throughout the movie.
I get that this movie is just a small piece of the whole “Shadow” organization storyline that started in “Casino”. I also get that there will eventually be another Bond film to continue that story. I just wish that QoS wasn’t so damn boring!
Final score: 3 out of 5 (and that’s being very generous!)
What can I say? I have loved this show from the beginning.
The Casting is perfect. The music is always phenomenal. There are no words that can truly express how much this show rocks.
When I started watching the show, it had already been going for a year and a half. I started with ‘Calling’ and I have not missed an episode since. I found myself glued to the television every Thursday at 8 PM — don’t bother me people! Smallville is on!!!!
If you don’t watch the show and you’re a fan of anything related to Superman at all, you are missing out ladies and sirs. If you HAVE seen the show and thought it sucked I have this to say……….

Seriously though, tonight’s episode was everything I thought it would be and more. This show has not lost it’s touch one bit. They had me within the first few minutes. The Justice League on the hunt for Clark. The search for Chloe. Clark’s return. I was not disappointed with a single thing. It’s not the greatest Season Premiere ever, but it ranks much higher than ‘Bizzaro’.
Overall I give the episode a 4.75 out of 5.

I have two brothers. One is several years older than me and the other is a few years younger.
My younger brother got married right out of High School. He has been my pillar of hope for the family name for quite some time now. He has one beautiful child from that marriage — a boy. I have taken it upon myself to spoil that child silly — as well as my Bro (he has it rough).
And then there’s my older brother. I love my older brother a lot — I just wish he would find himself. He has experienced the same hardships that I have (and then some). Over the years I have attempted to help him get his life back on track. My only regret is that I didn’t kick him in the ass every day to motivate him more. I’m done with that though — you can’t change anyone’s outlook on life. You can only live your life and hope that the people around you learn from their own mistakes.
Don’t get me wrong, I would do just about anything to help my family. I refuse to be a sucker though. I’ve played that part before for someone else and I’ve learned my lesson from that experience.
